SLOMO addresses the realization of packaged prototypes of an optomechanical microwave oscillator (OMO) in integrated silicon photonics technology, upgraded from the original structure tested within the ADAGIO project.
We will validate the technological feasibility (TRL5), assess its technical viability, perform IP protection and assess the market readiness towards commercialization and deployment of packaged OMO devices in two relevant markets: satellite communications (SATCOM) and 5G wireless access networks.
