DIRECTOR
Prof. Pablo Sanchis Kilders
Pablo Sanchis is Full Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València and was appointed Director of the Nanophotonics Technology Center (NTC) for the period 2026-2032. He previously held the positions of Deputy Director and Secretary of the NTC, contributing to its strategic development and consolidation since its early stages. His research focuses on the development of photonic integrated devices in silicon photonics, with particular emphasis on advanced optoelectronic devices and the integration of novel materials to enhance performance and enable new functionalities. He has an extensive track record in coordinating and participating in regional, national, and international research projects, including numerous European initiatives. In addition to his research leadership, he has been actively involved in academic management and has served on several committees related to teaching and curriculum development.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR
Dr. Ana Díaz Rubio
Ana Díaz Rubio is Associate Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València and was appointed Deputy Director of the Nanophotonics Technology Center (NTC) for the period 2026-2032. She joint the NTC on 2021 and she leads the Artificial Materials and Metasurfaces group.
SECRETARY
Prof. Jaime García Rupérez
Jaime García Rupérez is Full Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de València and was appointed Secretary of the Nanophotonics Technology Center (NTC) for the period 2026-2032. He is member of the NTC since its foundation in 2003. There, he leads the Biophotonics research group, having an extensive track record in coordinating and participating in regional, national, and international research projects, including numerous European initiatives.
