Integration & applications of novel nanomaterials for advanced Nanophotonics”

The main objective of our work is the design of versatile optical elements to gain reconfigurability, power efficiency and novelty for applications in telecommunications and biomedical applications by integrating non-standard reconfigurable nanomaterials such as 2D and molecular-based nanomaterials.

We are exploring as well new designs for photonic sensing devices based in Graphene sensors: Hybrid devices on dielectric SERS substrates and membranes.
